We are planning three-days of enriching sessions and plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues from the higher education administration sector and industry partners.
CAUBO has room blocks at four host hotels, all within walking distance to the Edmonton Convention Centre, where most of the CAUBO 2025 activities will take place. After last year’s highly attended conference, we encourage you to reserve early.

There is no shortage of things to do in Edmonton! A vibrant city in the heart of the wilderness, and Canada’s northernmost metropolis, Edmonton is surrounded by vast boreal landscapes. Experience 18 hours of sunlight a day in summer and nearby dark sky preserves for stargazing. The city is also packed with up-and-coming taprooms and innovative restaurants, not to mention the Art Gallery of Alberta, the Royal Alberta Museum and the West Edmonton Mall. Consider extending your stay in Alberta to explore the spectacular Canadian Rockies.

About the CAUBO Annual Conference
The conference is CAUBO’s flagship professional development event, and it brings together university administrators from across Canada working in a variety of functional areas such as finance, human resources, treasury, procurement, facilities, internal audit, and IT. Conference sessions focus on trends and hot topics in higher education administration, with the aim of sending delegates home with best practices and information they can put to use right away at their jobs. Evening social and networking events provide a great opportunity to relax and reconnect with friends and colleagues and enjoy great food and entertainment in interesting and vibrant venues.
The conference location rotates among CAUBO’s four regions: Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario, and West. CAUBO’s member universities take turns hosting the conference, and the host selects the annual theme. More than 700 people attend the CAUBO conference annually.
